Our Stockholm development team (which is comprised of 14 people) is located at Hornstull in an open and modern office space with indoor bicycle storage. The team focuses on our API readiness products and works in an agile environment, typically releasing on a quarterly basis. We collaborate daily with stakeholders in Boston, MA where SmartBear Headquarters are located.
The Role
As a Front End Developer you will have varying tasks and you will work on different products. We use the modern ES6 toolbox based on ReactJS, Reflux/Redux, Express, Grunt and Bower. It is important to be familiar with agile development processes and have excellent communication skills. It is equally critical to have a solid understanding of good architecture and the ability to build clean and maintainable code.
Responsibilities
Development of Single Page Applications using React JS and other cutting edge frameworks
Implement new functionality in close cooperation with stakeholders
Build well designed, clean applications with solid technical foundations
Participate in design and code reviews, develop, debug, or modify source code and unit tests
Qualifications
5+ years professional software development experience
3+ years of experience building front-end SaaS applications
Strong background in JavaScript
Experience with: Grunt; Node.js, JQuery, Docker, Java, C#, and/or Scala
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Agile development experience
Excellent communication skills
Being positive plus solutions and results driven
Passionate about development and technologies
Very good English skills (conversation and written)
Proficiency in Swedish is merited
