hela Sverige Synergus AB is seeking to find a Senior Data Scientist with specific interest in business development and skills and knowledge from health economic modelling and data analytics. As Senior Data Scientist you will turn data into valuable business insights and implement new Big Data/Analytics in healthcare for Synergus AB. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled Data Scientists to provide support in artificial RWD and RWE projects.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Develop and utilize statistical models to generate new insights based on both internal and external data. For example, developing risk prediction models in healthcare in RWD projects.
• Take part in building and operationalizing machine learning models for real-time or near real-time use. For example, models for classification of publications in RWE projects
• Continually explore new opportunities by analysing internal and external data sources, and take part in formulating use cases to operationalize.
Requirements
This is what you have...
• A PhD degree in electrical/computer engineering with a focus on machine learning, deep learning or artificial intelligence.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems at both strategic and tactical levels
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms. For example, multivariate analysis, deep learning, feature engineering, gradient boosted trees, artificial neural networks, etc.
• Experience with operationalizing machine learning algorithms, e.g. using output from algorithms to trigger campaigns, newsletters, etc.
• Experience with common data science toolkits. Excellence in R, Matlab or Alteryx is highly desirable.
• Research experience in implementation of machine learning in healthcare or medicine
• Publication record related to machine learning, artificial intelligence or deep learning.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• International work experience, having lived and worked abroad.
