We are now recruiting the next SQA Commodity Engineer to Husqvarna Group. This position combines engineering and supplier quality at the highest level and suits you with an engineering mind and background from QA and production processes.

Your future challange:
Husqvarna customers have the highest quality expectation on Husqvarna products. The quality mindset is therefore key within Husqvarna organization as well as within the supplier base. The challenge for the Sourcing organization is to secure this mindset in the supplier base and to assure robust quality performance from all suppliers delivering into Husqvarna plants worldwide.
Your future team:
The SQA Commodity Engineer will work within the Supplier Quality Assurance team (SQA), which belongs to Sourcing within Husqvarna Forest Garden Division. The team consists of several members who are located in Sweden. You will a part of a higly experienced team that take Husqvarna Groups SQA function to the next level. The team is also working closely together with other SQA teams globally from different divisions within the Husqvarna Group.
Key focus for the department is to protect its customers, both end user and factories, from poor quality caused by suppliers. Key is also to develop and improve suppliers quality performance.
Your role and tasks:
As a part of the SQA - team you will hold a key position for Husqvarna Groups, both existing and upcoming, suppliers in order to secure the correct quality needed for Husqvarnas products. You and your team Engineer is responsible for supplier quality assurance, development. The SQA Commodity Engineer is mainly working to prevent supplier issues on supplier site by developing supplier quality performance. Supplier Audits, Supplier quality development, problem solving (8D), quality assurance by APQP/PPAP are all parts of the daily work and is done in close cooperation to RD, PPAP department, Project sourcing, Project management etc.
The position means constant contact and interaction with internal and external stakeholders and frequent traveling to supplier sites.
Your background, skills and experience
In order to succeed in this position you are a person who takes ownership of your projects and have the ability to drive yourself and your surroundings to great results. You have a "Team mindset" both for own team, cross-functional both internally and externally where you have excellent communicational skills in English. As a person you are an excellent planner organizer and your mindset is always to work fact based and data driven.
We believe that you have extensive experience from similar SQE / Quality Manegment positions and a university degree in engineering or other relevant discipline.
Relevant background is from similar set of production companies, i.e within the automotive industry.
