Lead Installer Employees responsible for the execution of the installation project plan including equipment delivery and interface with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer's expectations. Combines working knowledge of technical/professional principles and concepts with in depth knowledge of team objectives. Ensures the quality and service of self and others. Regularly leads teams and provides technical leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review project drawings and obtain all facts necessary to perform installation activities according to specifications. Review and become knowledgeable of the project schedule in order to meet required time tables. Attend all required site meetings involved with installation activities.
Define methods and installation techniques for installers.
Monitor the construction schedule that defines project duration, work phases, equipment deliveries, man loading, and service department testing.
Coordinate the installation activities with other trades at the work location to optimize installation time.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Ensure installers pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with SimplexGrinnell work and that they wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hard hats, safety glasses and safety shoes.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of high school diploma (or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years of field experience in all phases of Fire Protection systems.

Must have knowledge of Foam and dry systems, regulations and comprehension of NFPA Codes, as well as State and local construction codes.
Driving license is a must!!!
