On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a experienced Operative Event/ Sponsor Program Coordinator during the Volvo Ocean Race 2017/18 with occasional traveling. The role is a temporary consultant assigment 50% position for the period starting 1 April 2017 to the end of June 2018.

Arbetsuppgifter
We are searching an Event Program Coordinator to drive, coordinate and support the VBC customer and stakeholder hospitality program and events during the Volvo Ocean Race 2017/18.
The work includes the Key tasks such as program planning, project coordination with lots of logistics, activity handling, requests and practicalities together with our markets, as well as creative corporate/regional content development and securing a red thread of our key messages and branding through all events at each race stop-over.
Occasional travelling is required.
The role is a temporary 50% position.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Key skills to be applied:
• Excellent planning and project coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills, particularly within events
• Strong customer service orientation
• Solutions driven team player with creative problem solving ability
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate well with integrity under time pressure
Required knowledge and experience:
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Project planning and management, or coordinator experience
• Knowledge in internal and/or external communications
