Purpose:

To drive, develop and life cycle manage industry generic 'horizontal' platform and solutions for Internet of things (IoT) targeting operator and non-operator customers.
Execution will be done partly within the organization e.g. development of certain products and partner management, as well as through placing assignments/agreements with (demands on) other product units (e.g. Service Enablement, System Integration, Operations).
Key success factors for business are agility, differentiation, re-use and scale focus to optimize profitability along the different phases in the life cycle.

Execution of Product Management and Development for the selected products includes:
To execute long and short term analysis of market demand and needs
To manage product(s) and solutions from strategy to end of life. The solution(s) should exceed expectations from the market and maximize benefits for Ericsson from profitability and working capital perspectives, considering dependencies and prioritizations within Ericsson.
To secure Ericsson technology leadership, right scope, quality, time and cost for products, using agile methodologies
To ensure that Ericsson is part of (enabling, creating or joining) global end-to-end Eco-systems for IoT. To establish the digital channel in collaboration with other units
Requirement handling, solution roadmap and solution readiness. Another focus area is moving into DevOps to connect agile R&D with customers.
It is also expected to drive the transformation of ways-of-working needed to succeed (e.g. mind-set to be attractive to partners rather them seeing them as suppliers etc).
To manage services requirements for SI and consulting for the IOT platform from strategy to end of life. The solution(s) should exceed expectations from the market and maximize benefits for Ericsson from profitability and working capital perspectives, considering dependencies and prioritizations within Ericsson.
To secure TCO efficiency including services (CS, SI, MS, XaaS). This means both understanding product requirements to optimize the service as well as put requirements on the service organization on e.g. norm hours etc.

Accountability
Accountable for Industry Generic 'Horizontal' platforms for IoT and solutions.
Accountable for Industry generic 'horizontal' SI services and XaaS operation for the IOT platform and solutions.
Accountable to drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO - products and services) for IoT and I&S Solutions.


Qualification and Experience requirements:

Academic degree, MSc, MBA or equivalent
Sound experience in Product Management
Previous product ownership and technology experiences: data management, analytics, service enablement, market place, security, OSS, billing and settlement
Sound knowledge of IoT industry value flows and business dynamics to understand consequences on business capabilities
Highly developed functional skills: Strategy, business, communication, value creation, market and competitor analysis
Sound experience in Operation and Services Product Management
Previous IT Software aaS operation experiences: operation planning, delivery, lower production cost, SLA and WLA contractual negotiation
