hela Sverige Akkodis is currently seeking an experienced Splunk Consultant to join our team as a subcontractor for a 4-month assignment in Gothenburg, Sweden. This short contract assignment offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the enhancement of our clients ' security operations.
As a Splunk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in improving our clients ' threat detection capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include developing alert rules to enhance detection, onboarding data into Splunk while ensuring compliance with the Common Information Model (CIM) and creating detection rules through correlation searches. This is a contract assignment lasting 4 months and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a tangible impact in the world of cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop alert rules to enhance threat detection capabilities in Splunk.
* Onboard data into Splunk and ensure that it complies with the Common Information Model (CIM).
* Create and fine-tune detection rules using correlation searches.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security requirements.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Splunk Consultant or similar role.
* Proficiency in Splunk, including alerting, data onboarding, and correlation searches.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat detection.
* Ability to work independently and manage client assignments.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Power User) are a plus.
* Already working for a consultancy firm able to take on subcontractor assignments.
Workload:
* Workload preferred at 100%, but flexible down to 60%.
