At the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Eksjö we want to be able to provide the absolute best care and service from the beginning of life, with the miracle of child birth, until the very end. Every year the clinics almost 115 employees help deliver approximately 1200 babies. We strive to give good and versatile care to women of all ages. We work in teams with a variety of health care professions in order to give the best care whether you are here for your first pregnancy check-up, child birth or to have a STD (sexually transmitted disease) examination.

You are a medical doctor with a specialty within the area of obstetrics and gynaecology to join our team department.
The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Eksjö is mainly focused on general gynaecology, infertility, urological gynaecology, oncology, dysplasia, ultrasound, obstetrics and overall womens health care. There is also a specialist maternity ward which is a cooperation with the medicine clinic.
Our offer
As a specialist doctor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology you will be able to work autonomously, but at the same time you will be given the opportunity to develop different work areas as well as being able to participate in various work processes. You will be working a lot in teams and a big part of the job is to improve different procedures and work processes. The employment also comes with responsibility of mentoring and tutoring both colleagues and medical students. You will also be cooperating with other clinics within the region. Included in the employment is on call duty.
