hela Sverige Are you looking for a creative role where you will manage advanced challenges related to materials and chemical analysis? As a Specialist within the Technology Consulting department in Västerås, you will be part of a dynamic workplace. Our mission is to provide expertise on a consulting basis to ABB business units worldwide and across our entire product range. You will strengthen our team in the field of Chemistry and Materials and participate in various projects that differs in scope, length and characteristics, where you will manage several project simultaneously. You will independently carry out investigations by planning and performing experiments and/or theoretical investigations, often as a part of a project team. You will also be responsible for monitoring costs and communication with customers. To reach your goals, you will have access to both well-equipped laboratories and advanced equipment for analysis as well as colleagues in the Chemistry and Materials Team, experts in other technical fields within SECRC and many of our business units.
Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the development of the team in various aspects such as our way-of-working, the quality of our results as well as our culture and team spirit.
You hold an MSc degree or equivalent within Chemistry or Material Science and a few years' experience from a relevant field. Solid knowledge in one or more of the following fields; analytical, polymer or surface/physical chemistry is required. You will also need to have experience from advanced material characterization utilizing a broad range of analytical techniques. To succeed you need to have an analytical mind-set together with a focus on results and thrive in a fast paced environment with continuous changes. Since you will be a part of a global business, you need to be able to fluently communicate both in Swedish and in English.
