Who we are
BID Test Tools is responsible for providing test tools to the Product Development Units (PDUs). Ericsson is creating the 5G future and we are making it possible! We are working together in teams spread internationally on different continents, developing simulators and log analysis tools, as well as handling external tools. Continuous improvements are a key factor to support the PDUs journey towards continuous deployment.
As a Senior Specialist for Simulator Architecture, you will make sure we have an architecture supporting an evolution towards new services and applications, as well as providing flexibility for deployments in new scenarios. You will stay up to date with research regarding applied simulation techniques and use your knowledge to suggest and drive which architectural steps are needed for our simulators.
The task requires a deep technical knowledge and understanding of simulator development as well as the ability to prioritize, drive and communicate efficiently.
This position can be based in Linköping or Kista.

Technical aspects
MSc/BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Ability to drive strategic technical leadership
Proven experience from working with and setting the architecture for a system
Ability to perform continuous analysis and understand our customers' needs
Great competence in Telecom and real-time systems
Interest in Linux and Cloud (e.g. virtualization and scaling) solutions
Analytical and problem solving skills
Great English communication skills
