The Actavis North Europe Cluster is looking for a Specialist Master Data Coordinator who will be responsible for the finished goods Master Data in the North Europe Region. The Specialist Master Data Coordinator is an exciting new role in the Actavis organisation. Publiceringsdatum2013-12-06Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Specialist Master Data Coordinator will be responsible for Data Stewardship. This is a critical business function within the Actavis Enterprise organization that holds accountability for data quality and control to ensure that data created and consumed within and across business processes is clean, current, and fit for business use. In this role, the main responsibility will be management, analysis, governance & coordination of data.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• handle great amounts of data
• establishing authority to create, read, update and delete data
• ensuring consistent and appropriate usage of data
• providing resolution of the data issues as a subject matter expert
• promoting cross-organizational dialogue while preventing perpetuation of diverse, inconsistent, non-interoperable data definitions and business rules
• alignment of master data to business processes
• provide guidance on change master data impact to process changes
• measure the accuracy of master data that aligns to its operational definitions
• measures effectiveness of data accuracy
• identify opportunities for improvements based on data discrepancies and analysis
• establish control plans to ensure on-going data accuracy
• ensures service levels such as turnaround time on data changes meet business requirements.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
As a potential candidate you have extensive experience in a business environment, medical or pharmaceutical is preferred. You have strong knowledge of Master Data concepts and minimum three years of experience working with Master Data in ERP environments. Thorough understanding of the relationships between master data tables is central. You have great knowledge within data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical) as well as SAP/JDE Business Intelligence or Business Warehouse. It's of great importance that you have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach business owners through problem identification and problem solving exercises.
To be successful in the role it's important to have analytical skills and strong problem solving abilities as well as effective organizational and planning skills. Personal skills that are important for success in the role are structured in work progress, strong skills in personal communication and trustworthy. You also have a positive and committed attitude.
It's required that you have a university degree or equivalent - preferably scientific or business management discipline. It's significant that you have strong English skills, both in presentations and in writing.
