Who are we
At Vehicle Electronics Final Assembly we are responsible for ensuring that Scania's trucks and buses can be programmed, calibrated, and quality tested in our global final assemblies. We are a close-knit group of 7 people with different experiences and backgrounds. We support each other and share our knowledge to achieve the best possible results together. Our group is characterized by an open culture with a high sense of well-being and lots of laughter.

Your work assignments
As a specialist in automotive electronics, you will be involved in our product introduction projects from start-up to implementation on our final assemblies. We ensure that the needs of production are included in the requirements for the electrical system in our trucks and buses. In dialogue with R&D, we ensure that our vehicles can be programmed, calibrated, and quality tested. In collaboration with process engineers, we purchase and test programming tools and other equipment that is needed. We create new sequences in our programming tools and develop the existing sequences in dialogue with our colleagues from the final assemblies.

You will have many cross-functional contacts with system owners, software developers, project managers, and colleagues from the final assemblies in Sweden, Poland, Holland, France, Brazil, and KD markets.

Scania's rapid development in electrification, automation, and advanced driver support systems means that the role of specialist in vehicle electronics will become an increasingly central function with exciting future prospects.

Your profile

• You have an academic degree in a relevant field, alternatively, you have technical high school qualifications and have built up the corresponding skills through work experience
• You have previous experience in the automotive industry, e.g. in the role of process technician, product technician, technician in vehicle electronics, or similar
• You are driven and have an interest in understanding how the electrical system in our trucks and buses works
• The most important thing is that you are curious about vehicle electronics and want to learn more, but previous experience in vehicle programming is a plus
• You have good cooperation and communication skills. Since we have a lot of international contacts, you must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is a plus.
• You can keep calm even in stressful situations and always work to find the best possible solution for the customer, both in the short and long term

The position is based in Södertälje, with a possible hybrid workplace depending on the needs and qualifications for this role.
