As our new Specialist within Battery Cell Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in the transformation into fully electric vehicles.
Who are you?
Since this is a new department within Volvo Cars, we believe you possess strong knowledge of battery production process and with experience from cell production. In addition to this you have experience in cell manufacturing process design and industrialization. You have a successful track record of leading projects within the area in combination with a university degree preferably in Chemistry, Material Science or equivalent. You will bring in a holistic view on how to setup and run a cell manufacturing plant and are keen on sharing your knowledge and experience in your team.

What you will do.
You will play a central role in the creation of a high performing organization within Volvo Cars which includes defining the Manufacturing Strategy both from a technical and people perspective in the Battery Cell Production. You will train new employees as well as existing staff within your field of expertise. You will also create our document library for cell manufacturing; writing standards, specifications and Manufacturing requirements.
