Job description
The Mining and Rock Excavation Service Division has the ambition to be the number one provider of Parts and Service in the business. One of the key factors to achieve that is to have high quality Technical Information.

Mission
You will be part of the team that creates and manages Technical Information. We have many customers around the globe relying on correct Information with high quality on time.

Your main focus will be creating different types of instructions for a product range. That means working with text and illustrations.

As a part of the team, you will work with both standard customer orders and participate in new development projects. You will work with people from the whole organization, especially Service Engineers and Designers. The machines are often complex with built in hydraulic and electrical systems. It will be your job to seek the right information from our specialists.
All texts are written in English and translations are made for customer orders when needed. You will be responsible for customers getting documentation in the right language.

Today, we are a global organization with departments spread all over the world. We are working to find common ways for how to create and handle information. The output should look and feel the same regardless from where in the organization it comes from.

One of our biggest challenges at the moment is the implementation of a new Global Content Management System.
The system will help us in reaching the strategic and enable greater reuse of content. You will be highly involved in the implementation of the new system..

Position Objective and principal responsibilities
• Providing Technical Information (text and illustrations) to ensure proper operation and maintenance of products.
• Meeting with clients to discuss possible projects, finalizing timelines and discussing data and information that is to be included.
• Researching and verifying information that is to be included in the technical information.
• Completing the project within the stipulated timeline and submit it to the reviewer for feedback.
• Completing all revisions and modifications as required.
• Learning about, working with and utilizing various new and existing software publishing and CMS/CCMS system
• Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
• Meeting goals and plans by effectively organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
• Apply to MRS business decisions when creating technical information.

Knowledge & Experience requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience and/or degree in Technical communication and/or Engineering
• Worked with CMS/CCMS systems, XML editors, 3D illustration tools (Adobe illustrator, Arbortext ISODraw) and desktop publishing software.
• Understanding of structured writing and single source methods for re use of content.
• Excellent communication skills in the English language speaking and writing
• Very good social skills.
• Experience within mechanical/vehicle Industry
• Very good knowledge of reading drawings and schematics
Data technician, information and communication (highscool degree).

Örebro is Sweden's seventh largest city, with around 130,000 inhabitants. It is located in the center of Sweden, population-wise - 2 hours to the east coast (including Stockholm); 3 hours to the west coast.
