hela Sverige Group Internal Audit (ZA) is looking for a special investigator. You will be part of a global audit team and report directly to the CAE, Chief Audit Executive. The position is based at Scania Headquarter in Södertälje, Sweden. You will work in an interesting international environment, involving travelling that will give you a global view of Scania's worldwide operation. Group Internal Audit reports directly to the Group CEO with a reporting line to the Audit Committee of the Scania Board. Internal audit is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve Scania's operation. It aims to support the organisation to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the processes for risk management, internal control, and governance.
Main responsibilities
In this position you will work independently with investigations but you will also organise and/or participate in cross-functional investigation teams. You will work according to Scania's guideline for special investigations, respecting the individual, local legislation and local labour agreements. The investigations will mainly be related to fraud and other financial infringements but could involve any breach of legislation, regulations, Scania policy, or resolutions adopted by Scania.
You will also be responsible, together with Scania's legal department, to be the liaison to national and foreign relevant authorities.
Profile
You probably have an accountant, legal or other relevant background and have been working with forensic investigations for more than 5 years. You have good legal knowledge leading you through the investigation landscape, knowing what is appropriate and what is not. You have great respect for human integrity and a well-developed judgement of how to act in sensitive situations.
An analytical mind, the knowledge and skills necessary for interacting with people in difficult situations is needed as well as the ability to take initiatives and to prioritise. You have good communication skills.
You will work in an international and multicultural environment, therefore it is important that you have an open mind and interest towards interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English is required. Knowledge of German, Portuguese, Spanish and other languages is considered an advantage.
