www.engelska.seInternationella Engelska Skolan i Halmstad is an independent secondary school with 550 students in grade 4-9 and 50 staff members. The school is located in a beautiful buildning near the Nissan river, and is a short walk from the city center.
We are looking for a Special Education teacher for a 100% fixed term employment from January - June 2015 with chance of extension.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified special education teacher with at least three years' experience as Special Education Teacher for grade 7-9 and who have track record of development .
You have good IT skills.
You have the commitment and drive out of the ordinary. You are a clear leader that provides security and is a role model for your students. You get involved in the students and in their goals through a coaching approach . As a person you are creative and open to new ideas and viewpoints. You are structured , loyal, responsive and have a high sense of responsibility.
Fluency in English is an advantage but not a must.
Duties and responsibilities:
• To develop students' knowledge and skills with the curriculum and syllabi founded by clear criteria , goals and feedback.
• Have the ability to provide security , order and working atmosphere both inside and outside the class room.
• Implement and analyze educational surveys
• Tutor and teachers should be instrumental in , for example, formulating action
• Working with the proven methods to strengthen the student's self-confidence and increase motivation to learn.
• Member of the school's Student Care Team
