hela Sverige Do you have previous experience working witch technical documentations and drawings and are up for a new challenge? Modis are currently looking for a Spare Parts Engineer to a company within the automotive industry in Gothenburg!
About the role
The team consists of 8 people from all over the world covering spare part assortment and visualization of the assortments for our customers. They also have colleagues on other manufacturing sites that is producing similar information. As a Spare Parts Engineer you will secure spare parts assortment by developing technical solution fulfilling common architecture and share technology with focus on preventive, corrective maintenance of product. Other examples of main tasks are:
* Perform spare parts judgment and create supersession
* Secure quality and readiness prior to releasing for downstream systems and processes
* Work with enhancing global processes and tools develop competence by applying lean principles and functional collaboration
* Create technical and commercial selection of spare parts for chassis parts (mainly electrical components)
About you
We are looking for a person with a university degree within mechanical or other similar area. The work covers looking at drawings and base a decision on that you see and therefore experience in working with technical documentation and drawing is needed. Experience from a workshop or other KOLA system is considered as a merit.
Furthermore, we see that you are open minded, a team player, has a high power of initiative with an ability to plan and perform your work independently. You are also curious and question the current processes in order to be more efficient and improve the work. You are a part of a group but will have individual responsibility within your specific area. Structure is essential since the work you do must be traceable.
