• Operate our smoker "Big Red" - this includes building and maintaining the fire throughout the day
• Preparing and smoking all meats to perfection
• Lead the kitchen in lunch, dinner and brunch service
• Aid in menu planning and development of weekly specials
• Understand and execute recipes for all dishes
• Aid with ordering & maintaining kitchen costs
We are a small team and we believe that your personality is as important as your kitchen skills,
For the position as a Sous Chef we want you to have at least 2-3 years of experience as a service chef and preferably some experience in a leadership role in the kitchen.

We serve BBQ sandwiches for lunch Tuesdays-Fridays, dinner with meat straight from the pit Tuesdays - Saturdays and we have themed monthly brunches the first Sunday of every month.
The position is full time and will include day shifts, evening shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule.
Low & Slow Smokehouse is one of Stockholm's first BBQ joints and is owned and operated by expat Ben from Kansas City and his Swedish wife Caroline. We serve smoked ribs, brisket, chicken and other meats as well as sides, starters and a few other dishes from the US in general, but from the Midwest and the southern states in particular.
