teenage engineering is a Swedish consumer electronics company that develops highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. They have products that belong to MoMA New York's permanent collection and have been praised by musicians worldwide. Their products include electronics and synthesizers and have been well received for their aesthetic value as well as their innovative user interfaces. teenage engineering is a design and development-driven company that does everything in-house. All development is done from the ground up with no compromise on detail.
Currently teenage engineering has about 50 employees and they are now looking for a new member to their supply chain team. Your closest manger will be teenage engineerings head of supply chain. ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for creating component procurement strategies and forecasts for prototypes and mass production. You will negotiate pricing with suppliers and distributors and fulfill purchasing needs by issuing purchase orders or approving factory material orders. You are engaged in tight communication with key component manufacturers in order to stay on top of industry trends and developments and are responsible for managing component stock at EMS and third party warehouses including the annual stock taking. You will have daily contact with suppliers, manufacturers, factories, external warehouses etc. Your job duties include but are not limited to:
• Support role in finding replacements or alternative solutions for EOL components
• Responsible for keeping EE PLM records up-to-date
• Responsible for supplier product compliance and collecting documentation
• Supporting the finance department in settling of accounts
teenange engineering is looking for someone who has a solid understanding of electronic components, as well as the ability to prioritise quality, cost and lead time, for differing situations. You are a pro at keeping a cool head while handling complex flows of components and materials, with excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills to quickly land on optimal solutions. Since you will have a lot of daily contacts, both internally and externally, strong communication skills are important.
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
• Several years experience in an electronics sourcing/purchasing role, with relevant education or skills within the procurement field
• Experience in vendor selection, negotiation and building strong relationships with key suppliers
• An understanding of how the flow of goods relate to earnings and balance sheets
• Experience in cost management and cost saving initiatives
