About the role:
Your role as a Sourcing Specialist would be to improve the total cost of ownership of the various services within the covered category(ies) by:
* Deeply understanding the need and the ability to see beyond pre-conceived solutions.
* Leveraging the entire Sourcing organization to take benefit from the firm 's scale and market probing.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Own the Indirect spend within the Labor category in the Nordic countries.
* Proactively looking for leading projects delivering added value.
* Improving our base cost and our efficiency by partnering with both business stakeholders and the category teams at a European and Global level.
* Continuously review and improve processes.
* Communicate regularly at all levels of seniority within the organization in specific Sourcing space and with cross functional teams on how purchasing contributes to overall strategy.
* Assist in the continuous development of the Sourcing function towards best practice.
* Advise Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor 's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Sourcing). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Sourcing Initiatives.
* Curiosity, humility and common sense.
* Effective problem identification and solution skills: Experience in Lean or similar waste tracking methodologies will be preferred.
* Very strong analytical and organizational ability
* Strong oral and written communication skills; fluent in one Nordic language (Finnish would be an asset).
* Ability to influence others, lead small teams, and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Project management or Key Account Manager experience is a plus.

The position is on a consultancy basis and the project is expected to run over a period of 10-12 months. As a consultant, you are employed by Adecco Sweden.
