We are now looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our Commercial Purchasing team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As we strive to keep high growth in a market with strong competition, it is of great importance that we constantly improve our purchase costs. Your responsibility will be to constantly reduce purchasing costs from our contract manufacturers.
Furthermore you will:
• Be responsible for the process of price review from our contract manufacturers on volume products
• Participate in RFQ process for new products
• Identify and drive cost reduction activities towards contract manufacturers by analyzing quotation data and having good understanding of cost drivers within different areas (material-, value add- and other relevant costs)
• Work in close cooperation with our contract manufacturers by assisting them to achieve competitive component pricing and making sure Axis negotiated prices are implemented in their product quotations.
• Work in close cooperation with electronics component suppliers to secure implementation of cost reductions towards contract manufacturers.
• Measure and follow up overall purchasing cost savings goal fulfillment
The position involves 20-30 days of traveling per year.
In this role you will have a great opportunity to affect big parts of Axis total purchasing costs and thus have opportunity to affect and make a big difference to our business and continued success.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are a well-structured and analytic person who enjoys collaborating with others. You are also ambitious, driven and result oriented.
You have:
• A degree in Industrial Economy, Business, Supply Chain Management or similar
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Minimum 3 years’ of purchasing/sourcing experience from international companies
• Good negotiations skills
• Knowledge about contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing and electronics market
• Excellent skills in English, both orally and in writing
It is meriting if you also have:
• Experience from working in ERP systems
• Knowledge about business culture in different parts of the world
