The candidate we are looking for likes to drive projects and process improvements engaging in cross functional teams, has analytical skills and likes working with risk assessments and statistics deploying as well as developing digital tools.
Essential Responsibilities:
As a part of the Supplier Risk Management team the Sourcing Project Specialist will work closely with the Sourcing Process Leader and assigned Sourcing Leaders for the various Global Sourcing commodities on leading, developing and implementing supplier related digitalization projects and tools, driving process improvements and execute on project activities to ensure realization of the business objectives for Supplier Risk Management, Security of Supply and Supplier Management.
Drive, develop and implement supplier related digitalization projects and tools in PDM, ERP, Qlikview and QMS databases etc.
Train and support Sourcing representatives and suppliers using digital tools
Drive and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and projects within the area of Supplier Risk Management and other sourcing related projects and process improvements
Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to collect external and internal information needed to support and execute the projects
Data analysis and consolidation, creation of presentations and project reports
Create Sourcing related IT requirements specifications and drive implementation and development aligned with key stakeholders
Provide training to Sourcing representatives and create work instructions for digital tools
Drive implementation of Supplier Database and Supplier Communication portal
Collect and analyze internal data to be used for supplier risk assessments etc.
Improve, simplify and maintain processes and tools with Supplier Risk Management Program
Drive identified risk mitigating activities supporting the Sourcing Leaders
Collect and consolidate internal supplier information based on customer requests
Create power point presentations summarizing statistic etc. to be presented to the sourcing leadership team etc.
Create project reports (business English required)
Archiving of data in supplier database
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree, technical discipline or Industrial Management studies are an advantage
Previous work experience from Commercial Sourcing or Supply Chain
Desired Characteristics:
Significant commercial sourcing experience are an advantage, but not a requirement
Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
Experience from implementing a compliant supply chain
Experience working with ERP systems, Magic, QlikSense etc.
Experience working in projects
