Kalmar Mobile Solutions is looking for a Sourcing Project Lead to join and to secure total cost-efficient products and solutions within the responsibility area.
Sourcing Project Lead will be working together with all parts of our global organization and towards suppliers, Global Sourcing Team Members, R&D Team Members, Project Management Team Members, Sales and market, and Counterbalanced Container Handlers' Division Management.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Contribute to CCH Division Strategy and Sourcing strategy
Actively participate in Kalmar global category-work and contribute into Category strategies
Support Division innovation by proactively driving information-sharing between Division, global sourcing and suppliers (current and potential).
Make product cost and supply chain risk analyses for different scenarios in the Product Roadmap
In line with CCH Division and category strategy make BC-proposals on pre-studies and projects for product roadmap to decrease cost, improve quality/delivery and decrease risk
Keep track on costing, risk, quality and lead times for potential key components for the Product roadmap
Make sourcing plan/strategy for NPD in cooperation with global sourcing category team
Secure early involvement and initiate cross-functional workshops with KAMOS sourcing team, R&D and market to support NPD-targets
Lead pre-studies to make a fact-based evaluation for new strategic components/systems designed and owned by supplier based on input from R&D, testing, market and customer feedback, service and global sourcing
Initiate early supplier involvement to achieve project targets
Manage and deliver costed BOM to the project from G1 until G5 (project end)
Lead sourcing activities and negotiations in NPD of new strategic products designed and owned by supplier
Lead sourcing activities and negotiations of SOW, timeplan, development cost, toolings and targets for supplier co-design activities in NPD
Keep track on costing, risk, quality and lead times for potential key components for the Product roadmap
Make sourcing plan/strategy for NPD in cooperation with global sourcing category team.

What you'll need to succeed:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or similar interest and experience
3-5 years in sourcing, project or product management in manufacturing environment
Engineering experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
Can-do attitude and the ability to approach challenges with enthusiasm and tenacity.
High level of interpersonal relationship skills
High level ability for cross functional team collaboration
Team-leading abilities
Drive and result oriented
High level of analytical skills, able to structure and conclude from big data, strategic and business mindset
Ability and willingness of technical understanding
Excellence in presentation and communication -able to make sharp summaries
Passion for sourcing and cost reduction
Negotiation skills
Fluent in English.
