Publiceringsdatum2010-08-26Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Sourcing Manager has the responsibility to drive the long term messaging sourcing activities within IPX.
In close co-operation with Product Management, Commercial Management and Sales, you will develop messaging strategies that save cost and create value both in the long and short term perspective. The position includes travelling, meeting operators, building relations as well as negotiating prices. A significant part of the position is to develop sourcing activities with the operators and create new business opportunities.
Due to the real time aspects of the business you will have an immediate impact on the business results and need to understand our customers and be in close touch with our sales force.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a university degree, preferably in Engineering or Economics, and experience from relevant industries, customer/supplier negotiations and messaging sales or clearing activities. Furthermore, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You have a proven ability contribute to a team but also to develop and implement ideas independently. You have excellent presentation and communication skills, and good command of business financials with the ability to write concise and accurate reports and proposals. Also, you have a solid business sense, the ability to make sound decisions without extensive analysis, and leadership experience with an aptitude for managing multileveled relations.
You are open-minded and flexible with personal authority and integrity, conveying confidence and trust. You have an ability to prioritise, turn complex network/technical functionality into something beneficial for customers and understand how to adapt the message to the target audience. Furthermore, you show great creativity, initiative and a high energy level while focused on opportunities and results.
You are ready to help where needed and you have your own conviction about how things should be implemented. Also, you are willing to fight for what you consider to be the right path even if it is not the most conventional one. You are a goal and results oriented person who wants to win as a team and not as an individual.
