Within Customized solutions the purchasing activities of Scania's Commercial Operations network are organized to accelerate the integration of the purchasing activities within Scania Sales and Service companies worldwide.
Together with the Commercial Operations organisation we are developing new ways of working and can offer a very challenging and entrepreneurial environment. We are now looking for a new sourcing manager to the Business Unit in Sweden.
Job Description
Working as a strategic purchaser you will be responsible for the development and implementation of purchasing activities for our Commercial Operations network in Sweden together with our internal customers. The work includes responsibility for sourcing strategies, supplier selection and negotiations as well as supplier quality, service and cost development.
The procurement areas that we work with covers a wide span of needs ranging from facility management services, workshop equipment/supplies and marketing activities to superstructure and other interesting aspects of what a Business Unit requires.
Our team is an important part of Business Unit Sweden and Global Purchasing. Together we create value for the customers, staff and shareholders by managing procurement strategies with respect to a wide range of products and services.
Background
We are looking for a team player, for whom its evident that joint efforts drive change. You are positive, service minded and a driven person with an interest in the retail business and at least three years of commercial experience. You probably have a degree from university or similar.
Since you will lead a change process in your areas by implementing new methods and principles, your leadership skills and ability to create trust among our internal customers are important. This position is a perfect opportunity for you who strive to get the best from two worlds, i.e. working with an entrepreneurial perspective within a top class world renowned company and standardized processes and methods.
You are fluent in both written and oral Swedish and English. The work requires travelling to some extent.
