hela Sverige Husqvarna Group is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Electrical sourcing team within the Husqvarna Division. In a nutshell, the role can be described as "a sourcing manager within development of new technology supporting Husqvarna's Robotic and Digital transformation who is hands on and solution oriented". The role is a key position for Robotics which is a strong focus area at Husqvarna.
The Sourcing function at Husqvarna is divided into several commodities/categories. Our main tasks are securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to support the overall business strategy. Your function within Sourcing will be the Sourcing Manager supporting our development unit "Robotic, Digital & Innovation" (RD&I), which focuses on commercial relationships with suppliers and managing all sourcing related tasks within the scope. The main focus is to ensure that the greatest value is provided to the organization 's internal customers and thereby positively affecting the overall business result.
About the job
The main mission for the role is to make sure that Husqvarna is in the forefront of the Robotic, Digital & Innovation world through increased consumer value. This is accomplished by developing valuable product and service/function-offers through innovation based on intelligent products, user interaction and new service tools.
The primary responsibilities of this position is to apply business strategy and relationship management to purchased expenditure areas in a way that optimizes the results of Husqvarna's total business
related to Sourcing of systems, licenses, IP, development and services, supporting Robotic and Digital development projects. You will be responsible to ensure quality-, delivery- and cost efficiency and sustainability of the sourced products, projects and services. The role will require travelling to some of Husqvarna's key sites in Sweden and abroad as well as suppliers.
Your role will grow over time. Initially it is important to manage and structure the work load that the organization faces, and over time the focus will become increasingly strategic.
The position is based either Stockholm, Huskvarna or Gothenburg
Who you are
You have a passion for innovation and new technology, as well as extensive experience within sourcing/purchasing of systems, licenses and embedded systems. You are a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment. You have the ability to independently manage complex sourcing projects/initiatives with different stakeholders (both internal and external). You are a true problem solver who enjoys reducing ambiguity and you are constantly moving forward. You have experience from collaborating and working in international multi-cultural teams and have the ability to define, plan and execute Sourcing strategies, projects and initiatives.
If you have insights in the field of Robotics and Digital development it is beneficial.
To be a suitable candidate for the role, we believe you have the following:
Work experience in project management and sourcing within Electronic/digital industry and/or new technology and Innovation, with a good technical understanding
Extensive experience in drafting contracts, legal/contractual negotiations and understanding of supplier relationship management
Excellent knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, fact-based negotiation and cross-functional team collaboration
Relevant academic background and strong written/verbal communication skills in English
