We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers' supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Sourcing and Investment buyer for a six months assignment in Linköping. You will be responsible for the execution of the sourcing process for Indirect and Investment categories. If you have bachelor degree and some years of purchasing experience preferably direct purchasing within in the industrial/manufacturing sector, this could be the right assignment for you.
The role
The Indirect and Investment buyer is responsible for the execution of the sourcing process for Indirect and Investment categories. You analyse, evaluate and execute current processes and practices, develop and execute the sourcing strategy with the objective of ensuring that targets are met within the overall framework of company objectives for Indirect and Investment categories. The position is responsible to coordinate and lead local sourcing for Indirect categories and Investments, and regional/global sourcing within selected categories.
Main tasks: ?
Own the Indirect material and investment budget/objectivesLead and coordinate the local purchase for Indirect categories and investments Lead and coordinate regional/global category sourcing efforts within selected categoriesLead and support local, regional/global negotiations for indirect categoriesDevelop the sourcing process for Indirect/Investments Design, negotiate and sign contractManage, develop and maintain supplier panel for indirect and investment categoriesMonitor, track and execute sourcing activities and supplier panel developmentMonitor and track supplier performancesBenchmark, analysis and follow-up of market and secure that the best conditions are reached
Experience and competence
We think you have a bachelor degree (BE in Mechanical/Automobile/Production, Business Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Finance) and/or 3-5 years of work experience within purchasing, sourcing/Vendor development - preferably experience in indirect purchasing categories and in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
You have strong and proven knowledge and skills in negotiation and computer/Microsoft Office (especially Excel). You are also fluent in English, both written and oral.
As a person, we want you to be analytical and exact with a good sense of quality combined with a good ability to work in a climate with rapid changes. You are driven and act proactively, take great responsibility and dare to make decisions within your own area of responsibility. It is also important that you have good ability to work and communicate across borders, with both external and internal parties.
