Job description
Professional Services is a division of the Services business area that provides world-class field services, repair center activities and expert services globally. In the role of Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for all Professional Services sourcing activities in Sweden. Your main responsibility will be to build and develop the supplier base of the division. You will perform negotiations with suppliers, as well as assess and manage suppliers ' performances. The task is challenging, but it also offers full ownership of the delivery. You will be able to impact business performance directly with your actions.
Your main goal will be to deliver results according to plans, along with increasing profitability and supporting business growth by creating and developing a supplier base with high quality and cost efficiency. You will actively work with sourcing strategies, action plans, operation models, and KPIs.
We offer you a fantastic and exciting opportunity to assume a leading role in a recently established position in Sweden. You will report to Director Professional Services Sourcing based in Finland and you are also supported by your global market area team, global sourcing community as well as over 200 employees in Sala that operates within several business areas.
The preferred location for this position is Sala, Sweden, but other locations or remote work can be considered.
Who are you?
To be successful in the position as Sourcing Manager for Professional Services at Metso Outotec you must have extensive experience of working with strategic sourcing and change management. You have a relevant university education and experience of working with suppliers, regarding negotiations, development, and performance assessments. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently. Experience of managing indirect spend or having the responsibility of a large pool of suppliers is considered an advantage.
You thrive in a position where you work strategically and proactively with sourcing. You independently perform your tasks and manage your responsibilities with the highest level of quality. When needed, you can make tough decisions and act hands-on. You have the ability to identify and seize opportunities of improvement in any professional situation. You perform your tasks with an efficient structure and with a solid focus on delivering great results.
