Within the Global Hygiene Supply organization in Essity, the ambition of Global Sourcing is to be recognized as the driver for best total cost for Essity. Global Sourcing will drive down total costs by managing a sustainable and competitive supply base utilizing appropriate sourcing strategies, processes and resources which support the needs of the business.
As part of the new Global Sourcing organization, Operational sourcing will be responsible for managing spend and driving synergies across Essity and for ensuring policy compliance. Operational sourcing will operate across 6 hubs in Europe. We are currently looking for an experienced sourcing manager to our production site in Falkenberg. The sourcing manager will report directly to the Operational Sourcing Director North.
What You Will Do
Ensure compliance with Essity procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
To make recommendations for handling supplier tenders, supplier management and design to cost opportunities for all local supply streams.
To deploy global/regional sourcing strategies and cost saving programs across the hub sites.
Ensure that the interests of Essity are managed in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with Essity Suppliers Standard
Develop and implement strategies for the sourcing of goods and services which are in line with the business needs of Essity
To negotiate agreements with suppliers and develop appropriate relationships between key suppliers
Together with the local sourcing team perform the day to day work within the department.
To provide support to Site manager and site management team, attending in regularly meetings, ensure all cost savings activities are embedded in site master plan
Coach and lead own sourcing team in daily work to reach KPI 's, perform GPS and 1:1.
Who You Are
At least 5 years' experience in purchasing with demonstrated sourcing competencies or transferable knowledge.
Graduate diploma in purchasing
Strong analytical competence and advanced excel skill
Excellent communication skill both in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
Strong track of improvements achievements through change management and cost saving activity
Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office skills
Role model in terms of Essity Belifs and behaviours and code of conduct
