You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Tasks
The Supply Chain Management department is responsible for purchase and follow-up of equipment, material and services. We also collaborate and coordinate with Supply Chain Management departments located in other parts of the world. We play a vital role in fulfilling the group's business targets and offer fantastic professional development opportunities.

Your main responsibility will be to provide end-to-end expertise and support to the proposal and project teams including but not limited to developing contractors, conforming bid packages with project documents, validating contractor bids, and negotiating project contracts with contractors for an HVDC terminal station, looking in to all the aspects from Engineering, Procurement, and Construction organization. Contracts will range from mid-value to complex very high-value packages. You will for instance analyze terms and conditions, focus on risks, make recommendations and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.

Requirements
The successful candidate holds:
• A Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical fields). A combination with legal and/or Construction Management will be an advantage.
• 10 years' experience, with a proven track record, in subcontract administration, with focus on large EPC power delivery, includes substation installation project management, substation installation, and contract buying for a substation EPC company.
• Knowledge of standard industry Subcontract process and procedures.
• Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and conditions in an EPC environment.

You are effective and have proven negotiation skills. You have the ability to think "outside-the-box" in evaluating contractual issues and appropriate solutions.
You have the ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings. On a personal level you are a self-motivated and organized team-player who is able to communicate clearly across multiple disciplines.
