With over 190 years of chocolate drink experience and 3 factories in Europe, Barry Callebaut Beverages is the world's leading manufacturer of specialty cocoa and high-quality milk-based solutions. Uncover the unique machine functionality of all our products. The beverage development center of Barry Callebaut is located outside Helsingborg, Sweden. There, powder drinks are developed and manufactured for a global market. The focus is on chocolate and coffee, but also tea and milk products are in the assortment. The products are marketed under brands such as Ögonblink, Van Houten, Caprimo, Bensdorp and Le Royal.
This role is an excellent opportunity for you to combine strategic and operational business knowledge, to be exposed to the end to end Supply Chain, interface with many Operations & Commercial teams within Barry Callebaut and be a central point in the supply and demand process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
As Sourcing Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
Purchasing
Purchase direct materials (mostly Cocoa Powder) sourced to BC Sweden, Chester (UK)
Coordinate with central Sourcing function based in Zürich (CH)
Set & maintain the framework for indirect spend and analyze to improve
Secure understanding of market fluctuations trends and how price development in the market impact the company, both short and long term.
Ensure fulfilling of the demand by calling off raw materials based on stock levels, lead times and forecast including risks and opportunities based on market conditions
Risk Management
Manage the Beverages risk position on all elements of risk management, including analysis and reporting.
Closely work with our QA department, to ensure all vendors are audited
Support commercial growth
Have a close cooperation with sales on raw material price development, how it affects Beverages customers and support when needed.
Cooperate with R&D on the development of the raw material portfolio and on cost saving projects.
Continuously identify, search and evaluate suppliers and/or new materials that fits with the organization's framework of quality and price.
ABOUT YOU
Professional qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher required, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or Supply Chain.
Experience within negotiations and developing supplier relationships, with ability to work on strategic, tactical as well as operational level
Documented experience from a manufacturing environment with focus on procurement
Project Management and Communication Skills.
Experience from working with cross-functional teams
Experience in collecting and analyzing data
Solid skills in Google environment, SAP & Microsoft Office
Fluent English language is a must, Swedish is preferred and any other language is a plus
Personal skills
Pro-active, cooperative, energetic mindset with focus on both result and customer.
High degree of flexibility and ability to work with competing priorities
Systematic, creative and seek improvements in your daily work, enabling you to actively understands problems and bringing solutions

The job location is in Kågeröd, Sweden.
You must have a work permit in Sweden/EU
