hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for a Sourcing Manager for a 12-month assignment with possibility for a permanent position at our customer Karo Pharma in Stockholm. The assignment is to start immediately.
Karo Pharma offers a portfolio of everyday healthcare products and services that help prevent illness and treat health problems. They are specialized in seven product categories: intimate health, digestive health, speciality products, dermatology, foot health; pain, cough and cold and wellness. Across these categories they own a range of differentiated brands in both prescription drugs (Rx) and consumer products (OTC). Karo Pharma's products and services are present in over 90 countries with own subsidiaries in over 11 European countries.
The role
In the role as Sourcing Manager, you will be executing strategies within the area of direct spend and be working with key suppliers within Karo Pharma's network. You will become a part of the Sourcing & Supplier Management team within Operation.
Main tasks:
Negotiation of contracts and prices with contract manufacturers.
Handling contracts (updating current contracts and implementing new ones).
Drive tenders to business needs and manage cost-saving projects.
Conducting spend analysis and drive cost savings and cost avoidance programs.
Secure attractive agreements and ensure that suppliers are constantly challenged.
Experience and competencies
The role demands at least two- or three-years' experience from an international multi stakeholder environment within sourcing/procurement/purchasing/category management. Experience from pharma, FMCG or cosmetics industry, as well as experience within contract manufacturing is necessary. We expect you to have knowledge in commercial terms and a proven track record in sourcing complex categories. We highly valuate a degree in Law, Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management.
For this role communication and collaboration in all levels, is critical. Karo Pharma is an expanding company with a fast-growing entrepreneurial culture.
