JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis delivers only high quality products and to maintain that high quality is essential to our future success. The Sourcing team has an important task to keep a high service level to the projects and secure that we minimize our Ramp-Up times to the market.
As Sourcing Lead your main work scope will be to:
• Be the link between the project and sourcing/purchase organization.
• Secure the sourcing process and supply chain for new products.
• Assure that correct functions and people are involved to handle specific questions in the project.
• Work closely with R&D, industrial lead, quality and the fulfilment team.
Your work can also include run projects within the sourcing department.
The position involves approximately 20 days of travelling.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Axis is looking for a structured and open minded individual with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics or business science or similar. The right candidate has also a few years of experience from production, purchasing, project planning or other relevant areas. We believe that you have strong ability to collaborate across organizational and cultural boarders and it’s considered an advantage to have experience from ERP system. Furthermore you have good communication skills in English, you are hands on and used to do what needs to be done.

THE SOURCING TEAM
The Sourcing group is involved in all stages of a products lifetime - e.g. industrialization, development, design for manufacturing and product data management in PDM and ERP system during development of new products and during serial production the group supports with maintenance and product changes. The main collaboration is with R&D, EMS’s, the configuration & logistic centres and the quality department.
