Do you have extensive negotiating skill within purchasing? Experis are looking for a Sourcing Buyer to an international manufacturing company for a 6 months developing consultancy assignment.
You will be employed by Experis as a consultant working for our customer. The assignment starts immediately and could be extended.
Work Description
As a Sourcing Buyer you will drive and execute all purchasing activities up to and including production supplier selection with the purpose of selecting the most competitive suppliers from a Quality Delivery Cost and Feature perspective in accordance with the Sourcing strategy and the Projects’ requirements.
You are responsible for initiate, develop and ensure implementation of sourcing strategies. Follow market- and technology development in its area of expertise in order to identify new suppliers when needed.
You will also lead all purchasing activities related to in Technology development (AE) project. Plan and drive the purchasing related SIPD (Supplier Involvement in Product Development) activities before production supplier selection. You will also lead, negotiate and execute all sourcing activities in every phase of the product life cycle when new supplier is selected.
You will ensure signature and storage of all relevant agreements in all phases of the product life cycle, including business extension. Negotiate optimized part-, tool-, development-, prototype cost, payment terms and productivity commitments with the suppliers in the sourcing phase and manage the overall supplier relationship.
Who are you?
You have a University degree in Business, Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing.
Further you have extensive negotiation experience and great experience with building supplier relationships.
To succeed in this role, you have strategic thinking and a target oriented approach. Further, you are positive, a strong team player with willingness to share best practice and learn from others. You are fluent in English both spoken and written.
