Indirect Purchasing (IDP) has a clear vision and strategy of how to become a highly performing procurement organization, therefore IDP has a Global Procurement Analytics Team based in Gothenburg. This dynamic group is responsible for ensuring procurement excellence by securing sourcing deliverables and quality excellence in all reporting and data transparency as well as providing project management support for key sourcing's within IDP. We are now looking for a Sourcing Analyst to join our engaged and collaborative group of six colleagues with various backgrounds and expertise.
What you'll do
You will support the work stream leaders (buyers, section leaders, etc.) in managing their key sourcing projects. The person will support the leaders buy providing them with secure facts and analytics that will enable them to complete sourcing projects.
The main tasks and key deliverables includes - but are not limited to - supply market analytics, detailed spend category analytics, category profiling, RFQ analytics, negotiation strategy preparation, and cost modeling.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have a commercial or technical BSc degree (at least) and two years of relevant work experience, preferably from purchasing/procurement. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and also the ability to handle many issues/projects in parallel. Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel is a necessity since this is the main tool we use. Project management skills; milestone & gateways is considered an advantage
As a person you are driven, with the ability to challenge the "status quo" in the organization. You are enthusiastic and energetic with a modern and quality-focused mindset. You are of course fluent in English (written and spoken) with great communicative and collaborative skills in general.
