Job description:
For our customer we are looking for a Solution Manager, who will be responsible for one or several business areas at Integration Center. You will act as the IT interface towards business to understand the current and future needs and plans.
You know the importance of integrated business solutions and that genuine middleware is a given component in good IT solutions. A real interest in and understanding of the business drivers and of how technology can support Sony Mobiles way forward is also required. The Solution Manager will act as the IT interface towards business and perform pre-studies, translation of business requirements into high level designs on which external partner, as well as internal process owners, base their technical specifications.
The Solution Manager will facilitate governance of the solutions and create and maintain solution roadmaps in collaboration with the business and the Application Architects.
The role requires minimum 5 years of experience from the System- and Process Integration area and preferably more experience than that within IT Industry. Knowledge of the IBM WebSphere Integration Suite is required and experience of working as an architect and/or developer using IBM technology is considered a major plus. You already have experience of working as a Solution Manager or likewise (Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager) within IT projects specializing in integration.
You should be a team player and thrive in a constantly changing environment where the expectations of you are high. Experience of communicating with and handle members from all levels of a company organization is really useful in the day-to-day work for the Solution Manager.
As a Solution Manager you will be highly involved in responsibilities that include:
• Provide expert knowledge to the business and proactively identify how Corporate IT can deliver value to the business
• Create and maintain near-term solution roadmap
Identify areas of potential solution and process improvements together with the business.
• Lead and Perform requirement specification creation and pre-study for projects/modifications (TG0-TG3).
• Formulate business requirements ? capabilities translated into IT (create High Level Design document)
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and evaluation / communication of test result
• Provide technical direction
• Acquire appropriate resources
• Communicating with Project Manager and other stakeholders in the project
• Interacting with internal and external partners
• Current solution design authority and documentation owner
• Manage reporting
Competence:
Experience with Websphere Integration Tools.
Proven experience of playing the key role in the design and development of IT solutions
Experience of negotiating and cooperating with global vendors, such as outsourcing partners
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions
Strong IT and technical knowledge
Experience of operating internationally across geographical regions
Experience of working with roadmaps
University degree in Computer Science or equal
