Sony Ericsson celebrates its 10th year as a joint venture between Sony Corporation and Ericsson in October, 2011. Over the years the company has brought together the best communication technologies with superior entertainment user experiences to create its Xperia? line of the ?most entertaining smartphones? in the mobile handset industry. With its global corporate functions in London, Sony Ericsson has sales and marketing operations in all major regions of the world, as well as manufacturing in China, and product development sites in China, Japan, Sweden and Silicon Valley, California.
We are now looking for a Solutions Manager, who will be responsible for our HPDD solutions within Sony Ericsson.
Description
Business IT Solutions (BIS) is a part of Corporate IT. BIS is responsible for the strategic planning, development and maintenance of IT solutions with SEMC internal processes, Personnel, Partners & Retailers as end users.
Within the fulfillment solution area, we manage E2E supply chain and logistics solution, with external and internal partners that support our business operations. Our HPDD solution is based on an Oracle platform.
The Solution Manager works closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translates them into clear compelling business cases and requirement documents, and then supports the implementation of complete solutions. You will also help Sony Ericsson get leverage in their IT investments, and proactively find improvements that will benefit us as a company. Solution Managers help our business with expert knowledge within their area and you will be a key player in our projects.
Roles & Responsibility
• Lead and Perform requirement specification creation and pre-study for projects/modifications.
• Formulate business requirements, capabilities translated into IT (create High Level Design document)
• Work with our teams and competence center to ensure E2E solution completeness
• Participate in TG reviews for new solutions implementations
• Identify areas of potential solution and process improvements together with business
• Live solution design authority and documentation* owner
Competences and experience required:
• Bachelors degree in related fields as engineering, informatics or finance
• Minimum of five years software development related experience
• Experience of negotiating and cooperating with external vendors
• Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills
• Knowledge in ERP-packages and best of-breed applications
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DBA
• Good understanding of VB scripting, .NET (ASP with C#), WEBSERVICE, PL/SQL, Linux
• Basic understanding of SAP BW/BO, CRM, ERP, SCM/APO and SRM
• Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated strong change management skills
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
