About the position:
TGW started their operations in Scandinavia in 2010 and has since then successfully grown the business to a yearly turnover of approx. ? 15 million. TGW is now looking to expand their operations in Scandinavia.
The Solutions Designer will work as a member of the Pre-Sales team, closely and effectively with a number of high profile clients to understand their current business profile and translate their future needs. Main responsibilities are:
• to spend time with operational teams at high profile clients in order to understand workflows and provide a report on their findings
• analyse data provided by client to understand key business metrics
• perform in depth analysis of the transactional data
• based on analysis determine the best TGW systems that can be used to provide a winning and automated Material Handling solution.
The position will liaise with the Sales functions in order to synchronize required workload and to be responsible for production of material flow diagrams detailing all system, nodal and mechatronic flows and also produce high quality presentations packs to present to a client. The designs need to be sufficiently detailed to enable accurate costing.
The position reports to Solution Design Team Leader (John Wilton/UK) who is part of a wider team covering both solution design and application engineering, 20 people in total. John manages 6 solution designers covering the UK and Northern Europe, this particular role will be based out of the TGW Scandinavia head office located in Gothenburg.

• Very good English skills (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to spend extended periods in UK or Austria to participate in training courses and business familiarization.
