Job Description
About the assignment
In this assignment you will:
• Lead business development, continuous improvements and life cycle management of the solution.
• Be responsible for the content of the Information Exchange development plan in line with ROSS and IIS business plan, created together with the Release Co-ordinator and vendors.
• Gather requirements on new or changed functionality in Information Exchange.
• Analyse and prioritize requirements together with Solution Area Responsible / Business Developers.
• Align development plans across solutions with other Solution Owners and coordinate all Information Exchange development towards the assigned vendors.
• Contribute to the vision for the Retail IT Platform, with alignment of Information Exchange development.
• Lead / participate in Steering Groups and Solution and Supplier governance forums.
• Participate in pre-studies and projects that are dependent on changes in the Information Exchange area.
• Secure established ways of working for the solution.
• Manage key stakeholder expectations through strong relationships. Interact with process and business functions, application management and software suppliers (tactical & operational discussions), architecture and other relevant functions (e.g. IT at respective retailer, Information Security, Information Management).
• In co-operation with the process leaders, secure relevant learning and communication for the solution.
About the job
As Solution Owner Information Exchange you will take on the task of securing that the Retail IT Package offered by ROSS can exchange information as needed with all relevant IKEA solutions.
There are currently 10 non-INGKA franchisees operating 24 markets with 50 IKEA stores and 16 E-commerce operations. The total turnover of these markets is around 4 Billion EUR. There are committed plans to open IKEA in 8 new countries the coming 5 years as well as a number of new stores in existing countries. Supporting the existing non-INGKA retailers and future expansion is a large part of what ROSS does.
The Projects & Business Solutions team is part of ROSS. Our scope of work is to manage IT products, integrations, suppliers, projects and change. We are responsible for architecture, roadmap, portfolio, capacity management, and to plan and facilitate platform releases. We work in close collaboration with functional experts in the ROSS department, with supported retailers and other stakeholders.
Our efforts ultimately aim to enable the expansion and business development of the supported retailers.

Qualifications
About you
Result oriented person with integration experience, who likes to take big responsibilities and to collaborate in a team within IKEA that helps IKEA to continue to develop and expand. To succeed in this position you will need to have:
• IKEA experience and a personal network of people working within different IKEA units,
• Understanding of retail operation as well as how the IT platforms used for running these processes fit together.
• Drive to achieve long-term sustainable business result,
• Excellent analytical skills - minding the details, while being able to structure, prioritize and draw conclusions,
• Leadership skills to create clear targets and to anchor it with all relevant stakeholders.
• The role also requires knowledge about integration platforms and integration approaches.
• You are able to interact with strong stakeholders confidently - understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
• You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another.
• You are interested in business and like to see how IT can enable people to achieve business results. You feel comfortable to explain technical information to people in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
• Good level of English (verbally and in writing).
