Ikano Business Area Finance is represented in ten countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Germany, Austria, Poland, Holland and Russia) and is providing banking and financial services such as store cards, loyalty cards, credit cards, CRM services, niche banking, leasing and personal loans.
As a Solution Manager within our IT department you will be a part of the newly established Solution Management Team, a team responsible for implementing Core Solutions (SW Applications) all through the markets where IKANO operates. This initiative is a vitally important aspect of the ongoing BAF IT Program for Growth. Success in achieving the use of Core Solutions across BAF will enhance speed to market, cost efficiencies, best practice and competitive advantages. For each aspect of the Credit Cycle there will be a Solutions Roadmap identifying the route forward for the next 18-36 months developed and maintained by the Solutions Managers.
Key responsibilities and deliverables.
• Maintenance of current Solutions/Applications inventory.
• Development and maintenance of Solution Roadmaps for each aspects of the Credit Cycle.
• Identification, determination, realization and implementation of Core Solutions best suiting IKANO's current and future needs, taking into account the following important factors;
• Ikano business needs.
• Competition -the products and services used by our competitors.
• Market developments.
• The current solutions developed by BAF IT.
• Vendor solutions.
• Industry best practice.
• Creation and implementation of a tool set for users that allow business as usual activities to be carried out with minimal support from BAF IT. This will be through both bought and developed solutions through a â'design studio' approach.
Key interfaces.
Application architecture team, Sales and Marketing (Head Office and in each market). Business Relationship Managers. Local (Country) Management teams, 3rd Party Vendors and specialist consultants, Compliance function(s), Credit Risk function(s).
Required capabilities and experience.
• Solid experience from similar IT related positions - i e Solution Management, Product Management, - within Financial Services, across a number of markets.
• Solution vendor experience (Financial Services).
• Detailed understanding of the products and services provided by lenders, and of the compliance framework within which they have to operate.
Furthermore you have experience from performing business/market intelligence and competitor analysis, business case preparation and presentation. To be able to succeed in the role, knowledge or experience from the financial sector is a must.

Your excellent communication skills enable you to work both individually, in a team and between teams and you have a strong business and customer focus. You are highly motivated with a large drive and determination. Your challenging and creative mindset helps you find alternative and innovative ways of doing things. Excellent English, good understanding of Swedish is an advantage.
As these are international positions you can be based in our offices in Lund, Stockholm, Frankfurt area, Nottingham or Copenhagen. The role will involve international travel and a significant amount of time will be spent in Lund, Sweden where the Head of Solution Management Team will be based.
