Who are you?
We are looking for a true IT professional to join our small but dedicated team as a Solution Manager. You can be in the early stages of your career, but you need to have experience within the Corporate Functions area based on managing IT solutions/services or IT projects. You have an interest in and understanding of the technical domain, combined with a functional and business-oriented understanding. You need to be able to easily network and collaborate across business and IT in a global matrix organization. Expectations include a high level of initiative, solid domain knowledge or aptitude to build such knowledge and a strong commitment to solution performance and user satisfaction.
About the job
IT Solutions Corporate Functions provide or manage solutions to the Corporate Function departments such as Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Corporate Development and Sustainability. The Solution Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for some IT solutions within the Corporate Functions area based on strong technical knowledge and business process insight. You will work in a complex IT landscape, guiding towards a future vision.
The responsibilities of the Solution Manager include:
* In depth technology understanding of the solutions, systems and technology within their area and level of expertise
* Secure setup for prompt, efficient support, problem analysis and change handling
* Design architectures for solutions fulfilling the agreed architectural and non-functional requirements in alignment with business strategies, IT principles, policies and target architecture
* Continually verify that solutions are fit-for-purpose and fulfils requirements for the specific architecture domain as well as ensures that re-use and standardization are considered
* Influences IT landscape and application portfolio development within Alfa Laval architecture domains as well as product lifecycle management and consequence analysis (keep, kill, replace)
* Project management of activities, deliveries or smaller, less complex projects, depending on experience
The position in placed at our Head Office in Lund.
What you know
* You need to have 5 years' experience of IT profession and at least 3 years' relevant experience within the Corporate functions IT area
* Experience of driving and handling change and showing decisiveness and execution in complex situations
* Strong communication and presentation skills and fluent in business English
