This is the opportunity to work with very interesting and challenging 5G uses cases in an international cross-border team of solution managers and experts. Telia continues their vision to enable a wide range of smart and sustainable 5G industry use cases that have profound benefits on the society, like the Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) development and the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) solution under the 5G Northern European Transport Corridor project that will radically transform the transport industry.

In the role of Solution Manager (based on the The Scaled Agile Framework® model (SAFe®), you will be part of the Mobile Data Services unit in Network Systems & Delivery (NSD), Telia Company's Group Technology organization. You will take a leading role in the development of Mobile Data Services across our Nordic and Baltic networks. The unit is responsible for the Service life cycle from development through operational phases and includes Solution Management and Service Management roles which act E2E across network domains. The main services managed by the unit include Mobile Data (MBB), FWA, IoT/M2M, Enterprise Mobile Networks (EMN) and Outbound roaming.

We are now ramping up the NorthStar program to give Sweden's and Nordic's leading industrial companies access to a 5G innovation network and the opportunity to explore the latest 5G technologies. Telia is doing this in partnership with Ericsson and our now searching for more talents that wants to work with the newest technologies such as network slicing and positioning, all in close collaboration with our industrial customers. In the journey of helping industrial companies reinvent better connected business by accelerating the adoption of 5G, Telia will also learn and build an even stronger position as the leading operator in the Nordic Baltic region.
The role as Solution Manager includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
Engaging with stakeholders to understand and refine the Customer and Business requirements provided through the Epic and in some cases Customer interaction
Leading Solution Development and being accountable for Solution being delivered in response to a given Epic
Leading analysis and creation of Solutions meeting Business Requirements (including time, cost, and quality), together with Solution/System Architects and Experts
Creating and maintaining Solution Vision, Solution Intent, Solution Roadmap, and planning Solution Demo, together with Solution/System Architects and Experts
Breaking down Epic into Capabilities which are defined, aligned with multiple technical domains, agreed with Epic Owner
Is this you?
You have an interest in networks, and you seek working environments in which you can make a difference. You are curious and forward-thinking and not afraid of the unknown, as you know that our change journey is about attempting to go where few have been. You probably have a Project manager DNA with an ambarella perspective on things.
Your Experience:
Deep technical knowledge of Mobile Data solutions (at least in one of the following areas: 5G NR, Network Slicing, MEC, NPN, Positioning, FRMCS, C-V2X, URLLC, mMTC, Roaming Protocols) including a detailed understanding of how Mobile Data Services are produced and some years working in a related network development or operations role
A proven history defining and delivering complex solutions with some years' experience directing complex cross functionality development of network solutions or working on mobility research and innovation programs.
A proven ability to supervise and motivate people as well as facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration
Experience of SAFe framework, and ITIL
Good understanding of the industry and customer insights and strong skills in English, both in writing and orally
M. Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education
