If you are ready to take on a key leading role in enabling our vision of the Software Defined Vehicle, then the role as Solution Manager for the Product Stream Software and Electronics Platform within Research and Development is the perfect challenge for you! We are looking for a committed and collaborative colleague, as we are on an exciting journey transforming the vehicle and our business through the Software Platform technology we are providing. On this journey, you as Solution Manager will play a crucial role when providing business insight, leading the Technology Roadmap evolution, setting Solution Backlog priorities, and thereby enabling maximized value to add from release trains and teams.
What you will do
On a daily basis, you will work with stakeholders, customers, and other Solution Trains to understand needs, split Epics to define and prioritize Capabilities and Solution Enablers and you own the Solution backlog. You are responsible for keeping the Solutions product and tooling cost within agreed targets. You will develop and communicate the Solution purpose and roadmap as well as delegating and prioritizing work within the product stream. It is important that you understand and support portfolio artefacts like budgets, strategic themes, and business cases as you assess metrics, including evaluation of business value achieved versus plan. The Pre- and Post-PI Planning is yours to lead and to define the inputs, milestones, and high-level objectives together with Solution Train Engineer. You will participate in the Solution Demo to approve the Solution Increment.

Required qualifications
We believe that you will be successful in the position if you have a broad experience in developing & integrating embedded software and mechatronic systems in an automotive context with in-house engineering. Previous knowledge in system safety and cyber security is a major advantage. The solution has a very high degree of cross functionality in the product dimension impacting all product streams in R&D, Digital core, manufacturing, and customer care. Previous multi domain//function experience is an advantage. The technology domain is also in a rapid transformation, technology curiosity and ability to judge new technologies are important to find long-term cost-effective solutions. Taking decisions based on facts and experience comes natural to you and you have an ability to shape the future of the technology ahead of us. Master of Science or equivalent work life experience.
