PRD, Architecture & Common solutions, EPTS (Embedded software Production Tools &System)
EPTS ? Produce Products delivers well known software, like PROSIT+ and APCI PTI+, to the different Volvo brands. Our applications manage embedded software in production towards all business areas in the Volvo group. We manage pre-studies, development and integration. Contribute with solution expertise to conceptual business investigations and strategy work. We manage maintenance and evolution and have full life-cycle responsibility. EPTS-produce products ensure effective ?end-to-end? solution delivery & support and consolidate all TD/BA requirements.
At EPTS ? Produce Products, you will play a key part of an experienced team of professionals who deliver innovative IT solutions. We give you the opportunity to work closely with our customers in several different automotive areas, and develop IT solutions that solve concrete challenges and business problems.
We are now looking for a Solution Leader for PRD - A&CS-EPTS-Produce Products
In this role you will be reporting to the delivery manager and be a solution leader for 3 cross-functional teams.
Role mission & context
On behalf of the manager responsible for the delivery within EPTS ? Produce Products, Solution Leader takes the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for the solutions and supports the full utilization of solutions.
The Solution Leader is responsible to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.
Examples of responsibilities are;
• Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
• Contribute to the establishment of the solution delivery plan
• Define authorization rules for application access and manage application access
• Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
• Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Set the requirements and approve hand over from project to maintenance
• Secure alignment to governance directives
• Work proactively with continuous improvements
• Act as project manager for release projects for the appointed solutions
