You will be managing the Windows based solutions in the Umeå delivery basket, mainly production oriented solutions. In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager Umeå, Solution Center GTO E&BM.
Role Mission and Context
As Solution Leader for the Windows solutions you will act as the Group IT interface to the business and you will be responsible to secure that the business and IT requirements of the end-user are addressed.
You will work with other team members in one team and your main area of expertise will become solutions supporting the Windows based .NET solutions in the Umeå delivery basket. For the day-to-day activities you will act in the role as team leader for the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Propose needed service level targets (SLA) (based on business requirement, roll out needs etc)
• Co-operate with Delivery Runtime Services team and number of external suppliers
• Ensure that Service Continuity Plans are up to date
• Sets the business requirements for hand over from projects to maintenance.
• Ensure execution of decided requirement requests for the solution incl. decommission
• Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
• Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test
• When applicable participate in new development
• Communicate EN estimates to the Business Sub-Portfolio Manager, Process Manager or equivalent
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Manage the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business Process Developers (BPD)
• Define on behalf of BSPM authorization rules for application access and manage application access
• Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material in cooperation with the BPD
• Prioritize decided changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Secure and Approve communication and anchoring of solution improvements

Wanted Profile
As Solution Leader for the Windows solutions, you will be responsible for adjusting solutions to the business needs in accordance to the current processes and rules.
You have proven experience in business and excel in demonstrating Volvo Group values.
Since you are part of a global unit, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. It is important that you have strong quality focus and innovative approach.
