Solution Leader/Business Analyst - GPPS and SOI Order Engine
Solution Center VCE/Penta Aftermarket Offer & Sales is now looking for one additional Solution Leader/Business Analyst.
In this role you will be working in global projects and in maintenance reporting to the Delivery Manager for Solution Center VCE/Penta Aftermarket Offer & Sales. On a daily basis you will have close dialogue with Volvo CE business stakeholders as well as third party vendor.
Role mission & context
SOI Order Engine is a system for ordering spare parts for Volvo CE Dealers globally and GPPS is a global Parts Pricing system utilized within Volvo CE. Both applications are COTS solutions delivered by a third party vendor. The SOI OE/GPPS Solution Leaders ensures consistent and efficient usage of the systems and you will be part of a team of Solution Experts, Solution leaders and Team Leader.
On behalf of the manager responsible for the delivery the Solution Leader takes the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for the solutions and supports the full utilization of solutions.
The job combines knowledge of the business usage and processes with knowledge of the solutions. The Solution Leader is responsible to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
• Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Secure continuity management for the solution
• Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
• Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material
• Communicate enhancement estimates to the manager of the business solution portfolio, Process Manager or equivalent
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Set the requirements and approve hand over from project to maintenance
• Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines
• Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, business processes and implement recommended tools and methods
• Work proactively with continuous improvements
Location: Flexible. Preferred location Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Travel required: Occasional

• Strong business understanding or proven ability to learn fast
