This will be us - your new colleagues within ESW GOT team, part of the Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostic
The current ESW Configuration & Release team in Gothenburg is about to become two teams due to aggressive ramping-up of activities. You will belong to one team, but highly involved in both teams in this role.
We are developing "in-house" ESW solutions used by the whole Volvo Group, in the area of Embedded SW. Specifically around SW documentation and configuration.
The teams consist of highly skilled and senior Architects, Software Engineers and Business Analysts with great Volvo domain knowledge and very experienced in SW Development, incl. agile WoW methods.
CPA Software & Diagnostic is part of Technology, a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group's digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo's core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products.
CPA Software & Diagnostic are responsible for core IT solutions supporting end to end, from developing vehicle software to vehicle software deployment. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group IT, with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.
This is how you could make an impact
You will belong to one team, but will be highly involved in both teams, making sure we share common micro-services and architecture when reasonable, creating in-house ESW solutions within the ESW Configuration & Release domain.
You will, as a Solution Leader, be reporting to the Delivery Manager. Your delivery-team will be responsible for our Cloud Service platform with related micro-services and applications. We have come quite far in setting this up for us, but there's still some steps to take and here we want you to drive the work, together with your team.
You will have a "Product Owner"-type of role, being the person to go to, for the Business stakeholder's requirements and related topics for your applications / services. You will manage a "Key user network", drive Change Management activities, innovations and secure deliveries are aligned with company guidelines and security directives.
You will manage and prioritize a backlog for your specific delivery, incl. Maintenance and new developments. You will also plan the agile deliveries from your team, in close corporation with the SW Engineers in the team.
You will contribute to an acceleration of our DevSecOps journey and continuously improve speed and agility.

Who are you?
You have experience in Software development or have good understanding of how SW is developed.
You are familiar working in DevOps - style.
You are a "Leader" and have the ability to motivate a team and the ones you are working with.

You have the ability to delegate.
You will be a good fit if:
You have 3+ years of managing teams.
