Solution Delivery Unit M&L
Solution Delivery Unit Manufacturing & Logistics solutions (M&L)) is a global unit within Volvo Group IT in charge of all IT deliveries related to Manufacturing & Logistics solutions. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area are managed in an optimal way.
Solution Center GTO Service Market Logistics
The Solution Center "GTO Service Market Logistics" is responsible for all deliveries related to solutions in its scope i.e. All the globally appointed IS/IT solutions for GTO Service Market Logistics. The Solution Center "GTO Service Market Logistics" has full responsibility for run time (cost, quality of service) and for the delivery of projects.
The Solution Center "GTO Service Market Logistics" is supporting road map design and long term planning in its area. It is also responsible for driving deliveries according to the global solutions agenda.
The function is staffed with its own resources and complemented with resources coming from Vendor organization, external to fulfill various deliveries. The total delivery capacity is approximately 300 FTEs.
Group Customs, Trade & Cross Solutions
The Group Customs, Trade & Cross Solutions is responsible for all deliveries related to deliveries in its scope i.e. maintenance, new development, support and continuous improvements of the solutions in the basket.
The function consists of Delivery Leaders, Solution Leaders, Delivery Manager, IT Business Analysts and Solution Architects, complemented with resources coming from Various Cots applications.
We are now looking for a Solution Leader for GTM SML
In this role you will work in a global team and reporting to the Delivery Manager - Customs, Trade & Cross Solutions. As Solution Leader (SL) you will On behalf of the manager be responsible for one or several solutions within a Solution Sub-Portfolio, Solution Leader takes the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for solution(s) and supports the full utilization of solution(s).
The Solution Leader is responsible to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time and run time deliveries in application management context.

Job mission & context
Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
Contribute to the establishment of the solution delivery plan
Define authorization rules for application access and manage application access
Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
Secure solution competence for functional application support
Secure continuity management for the solution
Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material
Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test and secure that user acceptance test will be performed

Wanted competencies and skills for the position
University degree in Computer Science / Engineering in Logistics or Supply Chain or industrial technology
A good understanding of both business and IT and the capability to actively use Information Technology to develop the business
Experience of working in project implementation and functional development
Good skills in: communication, networking, teamwork, task/result oriented, time management, work under pressure, ability to learn on the fly
Two -Four years' experience in application maintenance, support and development in international assignments
Knowledge of Volvo IT practices and tools for Deliver Run-time and One-time Service process
Experience in in Oracle, Coots solutions will be an asset
Knowledge in Customs processes and or Volvo Customs solutions will be considered as a merit
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
