We are looking for young, talented people and experienced professionals who are are looking for a career in solution integration and opportunity to travel the world. Stationed at our Global Service Delivery Centre (GSDC), which supports operators with the competence they need to grow their business, you will design and test solutions delivered to our customers around the world.
Solution integrator assignments include some or all of this:
• Analyzing customer needs and environments
• Translating customer requirements into deliverable products and services
• Implementing and testing customer solutions
• Integrating solutions into other systems
• Deploying and verifying software, customizations and configurations
• Generating relevant material, such as user documentation
• Providing support on own developed solutions towards customers
The role also includes:
• representing Ericsson at customer meetings;
• working alongside our partners and other third party organizations as required;
• working in the pre-sales phase with customer workshops and offerings:
• identifying and communicating opportunities for cross and up-selling.
You will work with the latest IT-technologies. Design and implement of large and mission critical solutions for operators all over the world. At the integration centre in Gothenburg we work with solution areas such as: as examples
• Operation Support Systems which is an IT based solution that help our customers
to survey and operate their networks effectively.
• Revenue management solutions that helps our customers to secure and monitor
their incoming and outgoing payment.
• Service Delivery platform which is a solution who manage content such as pictures,
videos and music for the operators. Portals towards end-users and content
providers is players who uses this service.
• IPTV is another example where we provide end-to-end solution for hotels and
operators.
Competence:
You have a genuine interest in solution integration. You work well independently but are also a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skill with the members of your team and colleagues across other business disciplines. Regardless of experience, you are a true professional who shows a consultative approach to customers and colleagues.
You should also have: (a minimum of two of the following are required)
• a Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia or equivalent
• two years of work experience within programming or installation
• software development experience (Java, C++, Java J2EE, )
• experience with installation and configuration of Unix/Linux systems
• experience with administration of databases (Oracle, MySQL)
• experience with script implementations
• experience with IP networks
• good written and spoken English skills
• Solution support service
• Interactive Design ( HMI, HCI )
Travel will be an essential and required part of the job
