Solution Expert Planning to Global Supply, Group Process & Projects
Purpose of the job
Solution Expert within Distribution planning – to work continuously and proactively with business process improvements to achieve world class processes, and to support and proactively drive the establishment of a sustainable and long-term IS landscape through close cooperation with IT.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously and proactively work with business process/system improvements to achieve world class processes
Drive process alignment to achieve common Global processes
Improve process integration, with integrated workflow and messaging
Improve process awareness through training and documented instructions – together with the IT
Support and proactively drive the establishment of a sustainable and long-term IS landscape, enabling world class business processes
Act as the “key account manager†for Distribution Planning in IT related questions and improvements
Tasks
Identify and drive process and system related improvements together with the Distribution planning department
Initiate, drive and deliver projects related to process and system related i mprovements
Contribute and actively take part in other projects and programs regarding Distribution planning related issues
Verbally and in writing formulate and specify IT demands in terms of functional specifications
Manage and drive interaction with IT to assure delivery of IT demands according to specifications
Drive process alignment activities to achieve and assure global processes
Drive process integration activities between immediate departments to assure a streamlined end-to-end Supply Chain
Qualifications
Supply Chain background is required with a good overall process understanding
Supply planning or ERP system user experience is required, IFS experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
Experiences in Problem based solving methods and Project management experience are expected
Good English verbal and in writing
Education – Bachelor or Master degree
Characteristics
Like challenging environments and troubleshooting with focus on the solution
Open minded result and delivery oriented team player that take strong ownership for assigned activities
Self-propelled with the ability to drive activities independent – identifying and setting own priorities
Supply Chain background or experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
